Support Me

 Posted by: Ed

Some people have asked if there’s a way they can help me on my journey so I thought it would be appropriate for me to explain the various ways you can do that.

I really believe that one of the best ways to care for someone is to care about the things that they care about. With that said I think the primary way you can support me is by developing a lifestyle of servanthood to those around you.  Give time to your family and your neighbors and be a friend to them.  Serve even when it’s not profitable for you, even when it costs you something.  Remember anyone who has been forgotten and invest the spirit of God in their life.

Another way to support me is to support the ministries I support:

Iris Ministries

A Woman’s Friend

Global Celebration

Loma Rica Community Church

And there’s lots more- even find something local to support.  It might not seem like you’re supporting me but keep in mind that you’re supporting the economy that I live in.

A great way to support me is to support my friends!  Buy a CD… actually buy all of these there’s some of the same tracks on these first two but just buy both anyway since it benefits different people:

Brock Human: Let Me In     [ Website - Buy CD - Buy on iTunes ]

United Pursuit Band: EP     [ Website - Buy CD - Buy on iTunes ]

Mouth (now Analog Tourist): Idle Space [ Website - Buy CD - Buy on iTunes ]

If you buy stuff from these guys they just might end up hiring me so in the end three of us get blessed (remember, you got music out of the deal).  If you want to support me, support christian artists- musicians, painters, directors, dancers.  Buy their stuff, give them gifts.  One caveat, don’t go into debt “supporting Ed.”

If you’re not into art support a local youth leader or ministry.  You will change lives.  You can volunteer too.

And finally, if you want to send me a letter or support me financially (if you still have money left after doing the above) you can send things here:

Ed Palma
P.O. Box 300
Oregon House, CA 95962

Keep in mind, I am NOT a non-profit so you won’t get a tax writeoff.  I don’t guarantee that your money will go to any particular part of my ministry or be allocated for any specific purpose.  I might even give your donation away- so if you have something specific in mind you’re probably better off to giving to an organization that is accountable that way.  My life is about ministry so there’s a good chance that wherever I spend, whether on food, clothes, cars or medicine it will probably bless more than just me.

Thanks for reading, give responsibly, Ed
